Thank you for your interest!

Registration for spring 2021 Clean Green Springfield activities is now closed, but there are still ways you can continue to help cleanup and greenup Springfield!

Adopt-A-Street

Many Springfield roadways still need some TLC! Through the City’s Adopt-A-Street program, individuals, community groups, business owners, schools, churches and service clubs are invited to conduct one-time cleanups OR agree to a longer-term service commitment that offers a fun volunteer experience and city-wide recognition. Volunteers who adopt a minimum of 0.5 miles of arterial or collector streets and conduct litter pick-up at least 3 times a year will receive recognition on 2 Adopt-A-Street signs posted on each end of the adopted street segment! The City will provide trash bags to collect debris and will pick up bags when filled.

Learn more about Adopt-A-Street or contact program coordinator Tina Stob at 864-1984 or tstob@springfieldmo.gov.

Adopt-A-Stream

Adopt-a-Stream connects citizens directly to area streams. Adopters remove trash, enjoy the stream environment and celebrate the improvements in water quality, parks and trails over time. Individuals or groups not looking for an on-going commitment can also schedule a one-time stream or drainage area cleanup event.
